Job Description

Sales Account Manager are primarily concerned with overall company revenue and increasing profits. Most of the time, sales executives work directly with customers either in an office or at a client's site. They may spend periods of time traveling to clients' places of business. They are responsible for ensuring that clients' needs are met.

Job Duties

Responsibilities:

  • Understand customer requirements, to promote the sale of company products, and to provide sales support.
  • Create sales contracts for products or services by cold calling or through sales leads.
  • Working knowledge of the technical aspects of product/service one is selling.
  • Plan and modify product configurations to meet customer needs.
  • Achieves regional sales operational objectives by contributing regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining regional sales system improvements; implementing change.
  • Meets regional sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
  • Establishes sales objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for districts in support of national objectives.
  • Maintains and expands customer base by counseling district sales representatives; building and maintaining rapport with key customers; identifying new customer opportunities.
  • Recommends product lines by identifying new product opportunities, and/or product, packaging, and service changes; surveying consumer needs and trends; tracking competitors.
  • Implements trade promotions by publishing, tracking, and evaluating trade spending.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks.
  • Accomplishes sales and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

 

Professional Skills:

  • Demonstrates and applies at a proficient level: application and concepts of Low Voltage Power Distribution, Machinery and Control Panel Building, Control Systems Integration and OEMs.
  • Strong listening skills that allow you to translate customer needs into product and service solutions.
  • Collaborative communicator, with talent for establishing productive relationships with staff, clients, colleagues, consultants, and contractors.
  • Industrial and electrical knowledge, understands our channels of distribution (direct & indirect).
  • Cross-functional and Cross-cultural l team leadership skills and team building mind frame.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering. Related field experience in electrical field with combination of education can be taken into consideration. Previous sales or engineering experience in a control and machinery panel builder or systems integrator is plus.

 

Experience &  Knowledge:

  • Bilingual-English and French (English as the Native Language).
  • Self-Starter with an execution mindset to drive results.
  • Ability to manage communications across multiple time zones due to NOARK being a global operation.
  • Experience commensurate with position profile and industry ranging from 5 to 7 years including direct industry experience.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in dynamic environment quickly adapting to changing priorities while maintaining a strong sense of urgency.
  • Experience in working within large-scale, highly matrix corporate environment.
  • Experience in leading cross functional and cross-cultural teams and setting customer expectations to deliver required results.

 

Travel:

  • Some travel required to manufacturing facilities and to meet with Customers.
