Job Description

We are looking Inside Sales Technical Support Manager is responsible for providing support to internal and external customers by researching and answering questions, creating proposals, troubleshooting problems, and working cross functionally with marketing and engineering to develop solutions.

The products that would be supported include circuit protection devices (Air Circuit breakers and Molded Case Circuit breakers), motor starters, and pilot devices. In this role, you will be responsible for strong business acumen, technologically savvy, and have a thorough understanding of the company’s strategic priorities to anticipate future needs for technical support organization.

Job Duties

  • Provide general support internally and externally to ensure world class service for quotes and product support.
  • Will document processes and procedures to create standard work.
  • Communicate with sales teams, distributors, and end users.
  • Will collect product and application gap requests to help develop the business case for new product development.
  • Will interpret end users’ application needs and define appropriate solutions.
  • Will perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate such as review the NA sales email streams to help in performing product substitutions.
  • Will help outside sales perform quoting and cross reference proposals.
  • Help MARCOM write technical literature and technical marketing communications.
  • Help develop tip sheets to help outside sales sell against competition.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required with a focus on electricity, process control or electronics.

 

Experience & Knowledge:

  • Experience in motor control or power distribution required.
  • Proficient knowledge of Windows Operation Systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with customer via the phone, e-mail, and other written and communication mediums.
  • Strong work ethic, flexibility, and desire to actively contribute to the group’s success.
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks, remain focused, and reach a resolution.
  • Future roles:
    • Based on a strong performance would be eligible for future Regional Sales roles.
