Molded case circuit breakers (MCCBs) are the circuit protection backbone of electrical power distribution systems in residential, commercial and industrial settings. They offer protection for circuits from 15 through several thousand amps and are conveniently re-settable for maximum uptime. MCCBs protect electrical systems from overloads and short circuits, ensuring safety and preventing damage to the equipment.
A NOARK’s MCCB is suitable for a variety of applications, by machinery manufacturers, control panel fabricators and power distribution OEMs. NOARK’s Molded Case Circuit Breakers are designed to withstand a wide temperature range from -40 to +70 degrees C so they can perform reliably even in demanding applications.
M1-M5 Flange handle mechanism selection is separated into 4 components (sold separately); flange handle (FH), flex shaft (FST), cabinet operating mechanism (OMC) and breaker operating mechanism (OMB)
– Flange Handle is available in a Compact fixed length (9.57in) and an Adjustable legth (11.81in – 13.62in). Both are UL4,4X Rated.
– The Flex Shat length is available from 3 feet to 6 feet for M1 – M6 and 7 feet for M6.
Enables quick installation and removal of the MCCB without the need to disconnect or rewire the load and line terminals.
– Available in 3-pole only for M1, M2 and M3.
Terminal lugs are connectors that secure incoming and outgoing electrical cables to an MCCB.
– They are Al/CU rated and included with molded case circuit breakers standard.
Identify breaker frame size to select corresponding internal handle mechanism (IHM).
– The shaft (ES) is selected based on the length needed and diameter required. Length varies from 7.9in, 12.6in and 19.7in.
– The internal operating handle (IOH) is selected based on the breaker frame size. M1 or M2 uses IOH2, with IOH3.
– The handle (NEH) with the matching shaft diameter is selected based on the desired color combination and UL rating
Sends an alarm signal when the circuit breaker trips.
– 1NO/1NC.
– Rated Operational Voltage 125Vac, 250Vac, 480Vac, 30Vdc, 125Vdc, and 250Vdc.
The neutral current sensor is a device used to measure the electrical current flowing through the neutral wire in an electrical system. M6 3P4W protects circuit from ground fault, without cutting off the circuit due to faults on neutral.
– Rated operational current 800A~1200A
– Available only for M6 MCCB.
Used to convert a MCCB from lug-type cable connections to a busbar connection interface.
– Available for M1 MCCB (CKLB21) and M2 MCCB (CKLB22) only.
Terminal cover is a protective piece that fits over the electrical terminals of an MCCB.
Charging motor / remote operator.
– Avaialble for M1 ~ M6 in 120Vac//dc, 240Vac/dc and 24Vdc.
ELM20 is used to mitigate arc hazards and protect personal safety during product maintenance.
– It is used in coordination with the Molded Case Circuit Breakers M6- 3P4W with ARMS protection function.
Allows circuit breaker to be opened remotely.
– Rated Operational Voltage 100-130Vac, 220-240Vac, 24Vdc, 110-125Vdc.
– Interrupts Automatically ≥10ms, ≤60ms
Mechanical Interlock is a safety locking device that prevents the simultaneous operation of two MCCBs at a time (ensuring that one device is OFF while the other is ON, or both are OFF)
Indicates the state of a circuit breaker (open/close).
– 1NO/1NC.
– Rated Operational Voltage 240/480Vac, 110/220Vdc
NEMA extended rotary handle mechanism selection consists of 3 components (sold separately): operating mechanism (HM), shaft (ES), and rotary handle (NEH).
– The Operating mechanism (HM) is available for 2 and 3 poles and uses a shaft diameter of 10mm2 and 12mm2.
– The shaft is availble in different lengths: 7.9in, 12.6in and 19.7in.
Mutli-wire terminal lug kits include: three terminal lugs and one terminal shield.
– They come in 3-Hole and 6-Hole configuration.
– Al/CU rated.
Handle Lock is used for isolation and lockout purposes.
– It is used for keeping the MCCB toggle switch in position and locking it with a padlock.
– Available in M1 – M6 MCCB frame size.
Provides a secure and extended electrical connection between the MCCB and the busbar or other downstream components.
– Available for M6 frame breaker only.
Rear connection kit allows for the connection of cables or busbars to the back side of an MCCB instead of the front (where the normal terminals are)
Phase barrier is a thin insulating plastice piece placed between the terminals of different phases of an MCCB.
Prevents circuit breaker from closing during an under-voltage situation.
– Rated Operational Voltage 100-130Vac, 220-240Vac, 24Vdc, 110-125Vdc.
– Interrupts Automatically ≥10ms, ≤60ms
